Practice Interviewing Mini-Project

To prepare for your interview project you are going to interview the members of your group. Practice using the microphone and headphones, asking good questions, setting up your camera quickly and efficiently. See how it feels to be interviewed on camera so that you are ready to interview other people. The topic of your mini-project will be "How to Film a Good Interview". Answer at least FOUR of the questions below:

  • What kind of lighting will you want when you conduct your interview?
  • If you can choose your interview location, where would you pick, and why?
  • What are some of the worst places in the school to record an interview? What will you do if you’re in that location when you find your interviewee?
  • How will you ask your questions so that you get a clear, concise response?
  • What will you do if the person you are asking gives a long winded or confusing answer?
  • Sometimes people are nervous when they are being interviewed or recorded. What can you do to help your interviewee feel at ease?
